The Xab Pheej Kim Hmong Music Foundation, LLC in partnership with the Hmong Men’s Circle student association from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities are proud to announce that on Saturday, July 6th, 2019 at 7:00 PM they are hosting a community celebration at Northrop, 84 Church Street SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455 entitled: XabPheejKim Hlub Hmoob Concert 2019.
This is a full blown once-in-a lifetime concert with 1980’s singer song writer Xab Pheej Kim Lee who has envisioned this dream to fruition since the age of 15 through decades of recording. Come out to celebrate our heritage as Hmong Americans, our freedom and independence from Laos, and enjoy the evolution of Hmong music as our new age artists Jason Thao, Lor Chang, and Tou Saik Lee lead the wave of contemporary Hmong musicians.
In addition, we will have a live performance from Prairie Anthem, a country/blue grass duo, who debuts their first album “Farmhouse.” All the best live performances of original music all night long with the focus of harmony and love for the Hmong community across the globe.
Mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate together during our annual Freedom Festival. Tickets will be available via www.northrop.umn.edu from May 15th, 2019 to July 6th, 2019. Over 500 complimentary tickets will be given away, for more information email: toua.lee1115@gmail.com or call Toua Lee at 651-263-7376.
