National Endowment For The Arts Awards Hmong Cultural Center In 2019!

 

 

In February 2019, Hmong Cultural Center was awarded a new grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to support the Hmong Folk Arts Initiative involving classroom instruction, curriculum development and interactive museum exhibits to teach about Hmong folk art forms. This is the 8th grant the Hmong Cultural Center has received from the NEA since 2005.

In December 2018, Hmong Cultural Center was awarded a Minnesota Historical and Cultural Heritage grant from the Minnesota Historical Society to support the planning of an educational curriculum to be used by school groups visiting the Hmong Cultural Center Museum and Library.

In December 2018, Hmong Cultural Center was awarded a grant from the Saint Paul Foundation to support the Hmong Cultural Center Museum and Library Educational Outreach Initiative.

In November 2018, Hmong Cultural Center was awarded a grant from the F.R. Bigelow Foundation to support the Hmong Cultural Center Museum and Library Educational Outreach Initiative.

In November 2018, Hmong Cultural Center was awarded a grant from the Asian Pacific Endowment of the Saint Paul Foundation to support the purchase of a van to be used to provide transportation services for students of the center’s Adult Basic Education classes.
