WE'LL MEET AGAIN: A SPECIAL PBS SERIES TO JOURNAL INDIVIDUALS SEPARATED DURING THE SECRET WAR

By Macy Yang

Are you searching for a lost relative or loved one separated during the Secret War? Did someone help you on your journey to freedom and you want to find and thank them?

Blink Films, a British film production company, is gathering information on a story lead about the Hmong journey in a documentary film called, "We'll Meet Again." The selected story will be featured in a series portraying the Secret War, which represents a historical moment in American history. The series will be aired on PBS.

Why is Blink Films interested in a Hmong story? The Hmong involvement in the Secret War is an important part of American history that is unknown, overlooked and over shadowed by the Vietnam War. This is a way to portray an iconic moment in American history.

What is the story selection process? There will be an initial screening process before a story selection will be made. If you want to reunite with someone you lost touch with during the war, then the producers want to talk to you. They have a team of private investigators, archivists and researchers who may be able to help you find the person you are looking for.

To submit your story for consideration, contact Mark Usher at Blink Films via email at meetagain@blinkfilmsus.com or call toll free 1-888-487-2771 and speak to someone about your story.

Story submission deadline line is February 28, 2017.
