Maggie Dickey has had a love of theater for many years. Before that she was in choir starting in the 6th grade. "I have always been pretty attached to music and I wanted to try out for the musical in 8th grade and fell in love with it. If it wasn't for music I don't know if I would be in acting." She became so interested in acting that she continued acting throughout middle and high school and is now pursuing a bachelor's in theater at the University of Minnesota.

Recently she got a big break. "I had been looking for opportunities and I finally got this gig. I always wanted to do music videos and acting and film, so this is my first big film - John Kincaid Unleashed." John Kincaid Unleashed is the new film by J.J. Stomp. Dickey said that she found him on Craigslist. "I contacted him, and found his information. I auditioned for it [the film] and was hired on the spot. I knew he had agencies that he had gone through, but he decided not to use them this time."

The film follows the complex, and hate filled, relationship of John Kincaid and David Lee, played by J.J. Stomp. The trouble between the two came to a head when Kincaid kidnapped Lee's wife and killed her.

Dickey says of her role, "I am the love interest. He [David Lee] was married in the movie before and his wife was tragically killed and taken from him. It is about him moving on to his next love interest and forgiving. He has to save me throughout the film and our love grows throughout the movie."

Dickey was not familiar with martial arts before the film and really fell in love with it. "I just kind of came across it and now I am interested in it because I know more and more people that are doing it," said Dickey. She hopes to learn more about martial arts and film. Of the film she said, "I hope it is a big stepping stone for me. It is a pretty big deal to be the main actress in a feature and to see my face on the big screen. I hope to meet more people in martial arts and film."

Her scenes were shot at her cabin in Fergus Falls, other scenes were shot in California.

She wanted to thank J.J. Stomp for the opportunity. "It was a great experience and a wonderful opportunity from a great man and we will see where it goes." She is in the process of looking for more films.
